Page weight
A heavy page is slow on a phone, costs your visitors data and consumes energy. We load your page like a first-time visitor and weigh everything that comes through.
How the grade works
It is based on the weight actually transferred: A up to 0.5 MB, B up to 1 MB, C up to 2 MB, D up to 3.5 MB, E up to 5 MB, F beyond. For comparison, the median web page is about 2.3 MB on phones (HTTP Archive, 2024).
